Take Back Scheme
This scheme completely redefines the term 'RECYCLING'
THE ISSUE:
Refurbishment projects are notorious for good recyclable products being poured into landfill sites at worst and at best many components being incorrectly processed of from a true recycling perspective. TAKE BACK offers a truly traceable process for recycling ALL components possible from a redundant luminaire.With a luminaire there are many different components made up from a myriad of raw materials. The issue is how to facilitate the recycling of these.
THE SOLUTION:
We remove from site the redundant lighting fixtures. Each product is manually stripped and components batched according to type. Certain components are removed from carcasses (i.e. control gear cases) and further grouped. We then pass these to an approved recycling organisation who produce a detailed audited report for the Client showing how the raw materials have been recycled.
THE BENEFIT:
The Client has complete peace of mind that his redundant component has been correctly recycled and tracked to prove the recycling process has been adhered to.
